If we interact with people who we think approve of us we feel like we are important. If we interact with people who think badly of us, we feel like we are less than them. Self-image is at the center of the current generation’s desire to get accepted.

When we go into a social media relationship with the desire to get attention from someone, then we will actually get attention from the person. We will get the approval that we seek because there is nothing that people who do not approve of
